People who use a computer and do it once a day may not find the recycle bin empty. In the office, many files, data is stored in the recycle bin every hour. Home users like us also have to make regular visits to the recycle bin regularly.

When you remove a file from a computer, it is first stored in the Recycle Bin. Then if you think that the deleted file is needed again, then the Recycle Bin is used as the Fail-Safe method. However, we have some users who delete files regularly but do not empty recycle bin regularly. As a result, many files are stored in the recycle bin and eaten in the C drive space. Later, when reading less than storage space, I remember that the recycle bin must be emptied! Now if I say, are there any tips that if applied, the recycle bin will empty itself after a certain period of time? !!

Note that Windows 8 has many ways to empty Recycle Bin automatically. But today the simplest of them will be shared here. But keep in mind that this method will work in any version of Windows 8 or later. This method may not work in the first version or the unofficial Lite version; He will be in charge of the version.

1) First you need to run the Task Scheduler app. This is a built-in app for Windows 7, if you do not have it in your version, remove it from the Windows Store. To open the Task Scheduler, type Task Scheduler or Run in the search bar and type the taskchd.msc command and enter it.

2) When the Task Scheduler is launched, click on the Create Basic Task option here. Find it in the Action category.

3) The Task Creation Wizard will appear in front of you. In the Name and Description box, type the following image; Then click on the Next button.

4) When you come here, you mean to empty the recycle bin at any time and set it to your advantage.

5) After clicking on the Next button, you will have to type in the program/script box "cmd.exe" and copy the following command into the following Add arguments box:

/c "echo Y|PowerShell.exe -NoProfile -Command Clear-RecycleBin"

6) Now, check that everything is OK in the finished window, then click on the Finish button below.

7) Now we have to run this newly created task. For this, we need to select the task created from the main window of the task scheduler and click on the Run command on the right. Only then will the task be run and the recycle bin will start emptying according to your selected time.

Note that once the run is done, there is no need to run the task again after restarting the PC.
