How to repair a corrupted pen drive.

The plan was to give a memory card without a pen drive in the title. But in the present era, the use of memory card is almost extinct. Only 1/3 years ago, the storage capacity of up to 12 GB was still above the midrange price. But in today's age you are getting 5/5 devices for only Rs. And so the number of memory card users on mobile devices is decreasing day by day. But whatever the memory card, pendrive says, it doesn't take long to nest. This is especially true of Pendrive's baler because the memory card we usually don't swap from device to device; But Pendrive has been created to exchange files from different PCs. And it is often seen that the pen drive gets corrupted. That means the pen drive Dix flowers appeared on the PC after diving into the port drive; Nor does the Drive Icon show on PenDrive. Then you try to format by right-clicking on the pen drive. But when it comes to formatting options, there is no chance to format it. Frustrated in this case, you can try out the methods shown today as a last attempt before dropping a pen drive or memory card. It should be noted, however, that in the case of a software problem on the PenDrive / Memory card, this method will work if set; This means that if your hardware is nested or unreadable due to hardware problems, it will not be formatted.

1) Use on other computers

Most of the time we come up with a memory card / pen drive issue for the problems of our own PC incompatibility or other drivers. So after entering a pendrive on your PC, if you find any problems in the set then double-check the pendrive by inserting the pendrive on another pc / laptop before considering the pendrive as nost. If the pendrive gets connected properly there will be a problem with your PC.

2) Use of Troubleshooter

As a first step in solving any hardware related problem, you can use Windows's built-in troubleshooter feature. To do this, first input the pen drive to the PC. Then from the Control Panel, follow the instructions shown on your screen, from Troubleshooting> Hardware and Sound.

3) USB driver update

Many times, due to an outdated driver, Windows fails to detect your pen drive. And for this you can fix the problem by updating the device driver. Updating the USB driver is a very easy task.

First launch the RUN box and type devmgmt.msc and enter. This will enable you to launch Device Manager. Or type directly in the search box and select Device Manager from the Device Manager and Search results.

From Device Manager you have to expand the Universal Serial Bus Controllers menu. There you will see your corrupt or unrecognized pen drive as an "Unknown Device". Double-click on it. Come to the drivers tab.

From here, click on the Update Driver box. It will let you know if you need any updates. Then update Simply.

4) Change of drive letter

It is often seen that computers cannot assign a drive letter to your storage media; As a result, the storage media files cannot be accessed. So if you have these types of problems you should be careful whether you have a letter on your pen drive; If you do not have to add a letter to the drive itself.

For this, first connect your storage media (pendrive / memory card) to the PC. Then in the search bar, type Disk Management and open.

Right-click on your pen drive from the drive list and click on the Change Drive Letter and Paths option.

This time you have to select a drive letter for pendrive from the Just dropdown menu.

5) Driver Reinstall

Sometimes your PC may not detect your flash drive, and you may see a corrupted pendrive. Reinstall the driver of the PC drive from the PC. It's pretty easy, too.

First, type in the search box in Device Manager and open it. But before that, do not forget to insert the pen drive into the PC.

Now, right-click on your pen drive from the device list and click on the Uninstall Device option.

Now open the pen drive from the PC. Then install it again, the PC can now detect it.

6) Repair

Many people do not know that repairing directly from Windows Explorer can easily be saved from various errors in Pendrive. However, the existing files on Pendrive will need to be bunched. If you want to get Pendrive back from leaving the file, follow it.

First install the pen drive on the PC. Then right-click on the pen drive and click on the Format… option.

After applying Restore Device Defaults from the Format window, kill Pendrive.

7) Using CMD

If you do not take the format from Windows Explorer, you can use the command prompt as a last try. For this, first connect the Pendrive / Memory card to the PC and disconnect all other external devices from the PC.

Then turn on CMD as Administrator.

At the command prompt, type diskpart and enter.

Here you will find a list of all the decks installed on your PC. In the picture, the Dix 1 is my PC's harddix (which is 4GB) and the Dix 3 is the pen drive. Make sure you note the Dix number. Because if you enter the wrong dicks you will have the chance to get the whole harddix format.
