How to Underwatering the CPU (Central Processing Unit)
Hello Guys,
Hope everyone is well.
In the present situation, stay at home without making any unnecessary wanderings. Instead of wasting time playing games, call on God to give the family time, help the helpless if possible.
At present, everyone who has a good idea about PC serpent will know about CPU overclocking. Simply put, the CPU is supposed to do more with its manual clock-rate than a manual volt. As a result, more hits are generated and more electricity is consumed.
Undercoating is just the opposite of Overclock. Simply put, just reducing CPU volume to tolerable levels is called Undervolting. Where overclocking requires special CPU and motherboard, it is possible to undervolting with ordinary CPU and motherboard.
Reason:
At first, the question that may come to mind is the need for undervolting. There are several reasons for this. By default, the motherboard gives the CPU a little more V, but if undervolting properly, there are many benefits to the CPU that the CPU needs.1. CPU heating is low.
2. The cost of electricity is low.
3. In some cases, a 2-4% higher performance can be achieved by keeping the clock rate fixed.
How To Undervolting YouTube There are very few videos but you can watch what you have.
Before starting work, make sure the PC is stable.
Two ways can be done with software, with Bios.
First, you need to install the Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility software, then
Go to the Core tab and go to the Core Voltage Offset, it shows that there is 0.000 V from here.
Then test with various CPU benchmark software such as Cine Bench, Real Bench, geekbench, etc. to see if the performance is ok and the system is stable. You can see all the data in the graph. You can see a time to reduce the VSsystem slow, hang, restart, then you will understand and V can not be reduced. Then you have to save how much V system was stable in the last V. It will be advantageous to make a chart while working.
If you want to do it with the BIOS
Select from the CPU Core Voltage (Offset Mode).
Provide CPU Offset Mode Sign (-).
- CPU Core Voltage Offset (0.020) should be minimized such as - 0.020, 0.030, 0.040. General Chat Chat Lounge
Then save the bios setting and go to windows and test the performance.
*** It requires patience to work, always (-) v, CPU Motherboard PSU OS may be less than offset voltage offset so work with time, software and BIOS values will not be the same. ***
